Task 2272 words

More and more tasks we do at home and at work these days are done by robots. Is this a positive or negative development?

An increasing number of tasks we perform at home and work are now being carried out by robots. While this phenomenon clearly has some positive implications, I believe that there are far more important factors to take into consideration.

This is because they do not get tired or make mistakes, leading to higher productivity in the workplace. For example, in some restaurants, robots serve just like humans. Admittedly, even better sometimes, proving their capabilities are good enough for any task. In addition to their advanced abilities, automation could reduce labor costs for businesses, which leads to economic efficiency.

This is because robots can struggle with tasks that require complex decision-making, creativity, or emotional intelligence, which humans handle naturally. Besides limited flexibility, job displacement is the next concern. Automation can cause job losses, as robots replace human workers in certain industries.

  1. Coherence & cohesion

RevisedDespite these advantages, I am still convinced that the replacement of robots in household chores and the workplace is a negative development.
