Is Axiom’s band the same as an IELTS result?
No. Axiom’s bands are AI estimates on the four criteria IELTS examiners use: Task Achievement or Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. Only an IELTS test awards a real band. Use the estimate to see where your writing loses marks and what to change.

Which tasks can Axiom check?
Writing Task 1 and Task 2, for both Academic and General Training. For Academic Task 1 you can upload the chart, map or diagram; General Training letters are scored on the same four criteria.
Why upload the Task 1 chart?
Without the image, Axiom can judge your language and organisation but cannot check your figures. With it, Axiom first reads the chart’s facts — its categories, values and trends — and then scores your report against them. Many often-set Task 1 charts are already known to Axiom, so their facts are ready even without an upload.
What do I get besides the band?
Each criterion comes with an explanation of its band. Axiom quotes sentences from your essay, shows a revised version and explains the change, and adds suggestions for the task and for how your ideas connect. You can download the report as a PDF.
How long does a check take?
You can watch each step while Axiom reads your essay, scores the four criteria and saves the report. If you close the page, marking carries on and the report appears in Your reports.
Can I check a handwritten essay?
Yes. Upload a photo of the page (up to 1 MB) and Axiom turns it into text that you can correct before you submit it.
How do I pay?
In Uzbek so’m through Payme. Each plan is one payment for a number of checks that stay valid for a set time. If you buy again, the checks you have left carry over and the validity starts again from the new purchase.
Can teachers use Axiom for a class?
Yes. Teacher plans include more checks and AI-writing detection, and let you review every essay you have submitted, filter them by band, and edit or confirm Axiom’s assessment. For a school or learning centre, message us on Telegram.
What does AI-writing detection tell me?
An estimate of how much of an essay reads as written by AI, with the passages behind it. It is a signal to discuss with a student, not proof of who wrote the essay.
