Task 2360 words

Some people think that we should invent a new language for international communication. Will the benefits of this outweigh the problems associated with it?

Inventing a new language is suggested to communicate internationally. While to some extent people would benefit from this change, I believe the drawbacks are more significant.

Another minor yet obvious positive change would be the increased availability of international job opportunities for ordinary individuals. Oftentimes, in developing countries, people with great knowledge and expertise in certain fields, like engineering and construction to name but a few, are unable to get jobs due to language barriers in other countries. In conclusion, despite the benefits – prevention of language barrier and the possibility of increased international job prospects, it is in my opinion that the creation of one language for all countries to use in communication will cause more such problems as the loss of cultural identity and a boom in unemployment rates.
